Pickering Red Sox 2019

Pickering Red Sox (2014-2019)

The Red Sox played out of the confines of Kirkey Field and Don Beer Field for 6 years.  Winning 2 GTBL titles in that time, the Red Sox represented the city of Pickering with many players coming from that area.  An influx of young Durham region players invigorated the lineup for many years.  The Red Sox captured the GTBL crown in 2017 and 2019.

Markham Pioneers 2003

Markham Pioneers (1990 - 2010)

Renamed the Markham Pioneers in 1990, Coach Mark Munro took the team to new heights.  Playing out of Milliken Mills Park, the dirt infield provided many memorable moments on the diamond for the Pioneers.  In 1998 the Pioneers won their first EOBA title and an influx of young talent took the team to a Provincial "B" title in 2000.  The following year transitioned the team to the Senior "A" level, the top level in the province.  In 2002, the Pioneers entered the Elimination tournament for the first time winning their first four games before losing two on Monday.  The next year the Pioneers won six straight games to capture the Provincial title and representing Ontario at Nationals where they placed third.  The team was a mainstay in the top 10 in the province for years, coming close to winning on many occasions but could never get back to the top of the heap.
