The Sox finished the 2017 season with a 29-15 record (17-7 regular season, 5-2 play-offs, 7-6 in tournaments), it was a very good season for the Sox.  A few Sox won some individual awards as well for their efforts in 2017.

Peter Ricciardi named play-off MVP, 2nd Team All Star

Peter hit .321 during the play-offs scoring seven runs, hitting 2 game changing home runs including a walk off in  game 1 of the finals, and provided excellent defense in centrefield.

Peter's season totals were Avg: .362 OBP: .469 RBI: 31 Runs: 58 SB's: 40

Sean Molony had an amazing season  as well ending with the league MVP award and the hitter of the year, and a 1st team All Star

Sean hit .452 during league play with .478 OBP 3 HR and 34 RBI and provided steady defense at all infield positions.

2nd Team All Stars included: Jesse Dynes at 1B, Peter Ricciardi and Steve Correia in the outfield

Jesse Dynes was also voted to the all defensive team at first base.

Last but not least is Steve Marshall who won manager of the year for the first time, he led the Sox to a 22-9 record in league and play-offs.

 

With the 2017 season now ended, it is now onto preparing for the 2018.
