Jack joined the Red Sox in 2016, and gives Pickering another excellent catcher. He played college ball for the Durham Lords, and is an excellent option behind the dish who calls a great game, blocks the ball with the best of them, and much throws harder from his knees to second base than Brad Binns does from the full wind-up on the mound. Jack had an excellent rookie campaign for Pickering, including 3 HR and a .284 AVG before injuries derailed his 2017 season. Look for him to bounce back in a big way in 2018.
