Jesse is a high school teacher and graduate of UWO who joined the Pioneers in 1997, making him the longest standing member of the roster and old enough to be the father of some, which helped him earn the nickname, "Father Dynes". A mentor on and off the field for the entire team, his power and ability to hit for average makes him a natural fit in the middle of the lineup. One of the best defensive first basemen, Jesse often makes his teammates look good by hauling in errant throws.
